The Palestra tickets & upcoming events

Looking for a legendary spot with that old school college vibe? The Palestra in Philadelphia is more than just an arena, it’s where history was made back in 1967 during the NCAA Tournament when UCLA and Kentucky went head to head in a game still talked about today. Over the years, this place has hosted countless epic matchups, like North Carolina battling Duke or Villanova pulling off those unforgettable wins. It’s got that raw, electric feel, the kind where the acoustics seem to amplify every cheer and gasp, making each game feel like a once-in-a-lifetime event. If you’re wandering over from the University City Science Center or the nearby cultural museums, it’s an easy walk westward, or you can hop on a bus if you’re feeling lazy. Honestly, whether you’re there for the historic games or catching a concert or event, The Palestra just has that authentic, old-school charm that’s hard to match. It’s a place where memories are made, and yes, you might even find yourself yelling at the refs or high-fiving strangers, that’s part of the magic.
